Academic Council

 General information:

  1. The governing bodies of the Institute are the Academic Council of the Institute and Director of the Institute.
  2. Overall management of the Institute carries out scientific advice.
  3. Academic Council is formed of staff and students of the Institute by the election for a term of 5 years in accordance with the order of the rector.
  4. The number of members of the Academic Council of the Institute is 25.
  5. The Academic Council of the Institute for the positions include Director of the Institute, who is the chairman of the Academic Council, and two deputy directors.

 

The main tasks of the Academic Council of the Institute of Law:

  1. Submit the draft program of the Institute's Academic Council of the University;
  2. Submit to the Academic Council proposals for the structure of the Institute.
  3. Addresses issues related to its jurisdiction the University Charter and other regulations of the University.

 

Organization of the Academic Council

  1. Academic Council meeting held on the plan, formed the Secretary of the Academic Council of the Institute on the proposal of deputy directors and approved by the Chairman of the Academic Council.
  2. Extraordinary and working meetings are held on the orders of the President of the Academic Council.
  3. The meeting of the Academic Council shall be valid if attended by at least half of its members.
  4. If the agenda of the meeting of the Academic Council includes issues on which provides the secret ballot, requires the presence of two thirds of members of the Academic Council.
  5. With an open vote by the Academic Council approved by a simple majority vote. The Chairman shall vote last and his voice is crucial in tie.
  6. For inclusion in the agenda of the topics (for honorary titles, etc.) documents submitted to the Secretary of the Academic Council of the Institute for 3 days.
  7. Secretary of the Scientific Council of the Institute prepares all the necessary materials for the meetings of the Board, and is registered in the minutes of those meetings. Minutes of meetings of the Board signs the Academic Secretary and Chairman of the Board.
