The administrative justice in Russia

30 October 2012 the conference which theme was "The administrative justice in Russia", its theoretical and practical problems» was organized by the Federation Council Committee. The aspects of the event were constitutional law, legal and judicial disputes, development of civil society.

Participants of the conference were members of the Federation Council Committee, deputies of the President Administration, the Supreme Court of Russian Federation, the Superior Court of Arbitration, the Constitutional Court, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the department of Justice, the Public Chamber in Russian Federation, the Commissioner of human rights in Russian Federation, judges, advocates, lawyers-scientists. There were more than 50 people. Also, the SFU’s deputies took part in the conference, such as the head of constitutional, administrative and municipal law chair in Law Institute L.A. Mickevich. The lecturer of the chair and the judge of the third arbitrate appellate court N. A. Morozova, the assistant of the chair, the head of chairman ‘s secretary of Arbitrate Court in Krasnoyarsk Region O.S. Timergaleeva.

Also, the head of the Federation Council Committee in constitutional law, legal and judicial disputes and development of civil society A.A. Clishas, the first deputy of the Supreme Court of Russia’s head T. K. Andreeva, the adviser of the department of Justice D.V. Aristov, deputies of the Constitutional Court, common courts, scientists in administrative law participated with reports.

After that the head of the administrative Chair in Russian Academy of Justice M. A. Shatina and the head of the administrative and municipal law chair in Voronez State University J.N. Starilov gave reports about administrative justice abroad. And an adviser of the President , a previous head of Superior Court of Arbitration V. F. Yakovlev told about positive aspects in pre-trial proceedings in Russian Federation and abroad. Moreover, the head of the constitutional, administrative and municipal law chair in Law Institute L.A. Mickevich ledged with a short characteristic of Administrative Justice in Germany. She told about interesting experience in German Administrative Courts where she had been in a practice. As the result of the conference there will be recommendations according to the law projects in Russian administrative justice and alteration in acting procedural law.
