Impressions about studying and living in the Russia of Gabriela Grodkovska, student from Poland by Eranet Mundus program

I wanted to come and live in Russia for a very long time. This is my fourth visit, so I have already formed the impression about the country, but I have not been so far.

As soon as I had an opportunity to travel to the capital of Siberia, I decided to go without hesitation. Despite the fact that I already had the experience of being in Russia and some knowledge about the country, I discovered many new things. From a European point of view, Siberia is a remote and mysterious land with vast territories. Russia - like another world. Krasnoyarsk except Siberian nature and vast Yenisei struck hospitable locals. I am delighted with their friendliness and openness. You don’t meet such people often. They will always be in my heart!

One of the goals of my trip here was a trip around Russia. The dream of every tourist who came to Russia - to pass on the Trans-Siberian Railway and see the famous Baikal. I managed to even more. I have seen Russia from west to east.

Each of my trip to Russia is not possible without a visit to St. Petersburg - the city, which I admire. At this time I was also able to visit Moscow in the winter during the Orthodox Christmas and I got to the capital of Tatarstan. Kazan struck me for its architecture and connection of European and Oriental cultures. I've always wanted to see Lake Baikal. Thanks to my visit, I was lucky enough to see Baikal in winter and see the crystal-clear ice under your feet, feel the inexpressible energy of Olkhon. I got to the station at the Trans port of Vladivostok - a city that seems to be the edge of the world.

Study was very helpful to me. I got a new experience, improved language and knowledge about Russia. The possibility of taking part in the classes was a very interesting experience. I learned about the legal system in Russia, and I could see education at the university. I learned about the principles and rules of Russian law, met with the Russian constitution, administrative law, labor law and law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation. With the help of the professors I collected material for my Master's how I plan to compare the system of administration in Russia and the European Union. I believe that the knowledge and experience I have gained in Krasnoyarsk will be very useful in my future work.

I am grateful to assist me in understanding and tolerance of my Russian language. The last six months have been the most vivid and unforgettable moments in my life.
