Students of social department became volunteers on the Russian championship.
From 16 to 20 March Russian Championship in the sport of blind and persons with infringement of the musculoskeletal system was held in Krasnoyarsk. 2nd year students Petrochenko Alyona and Shilkina Daria participated in this event, accompanied as volunteers. The main function they fulfill was the support of athletes. In this Championship Krasnoyarsk Krai was represented by two-time Paralympic champions - Alexei Bugaev and Redkozubov Valery (athlete's leading Heroes Eugene). Despite the limited physical ability, competitors are strong spirit, active and joyful. This, of course, inspires great optimism charges. «At such events you can assume great volunteer experience and learne a lot about different kinds of sports included in the Championship. Also gaining experience to the team, to develop communication skills, become more stress-resistant. I act as a volunteer for the past two years. Each event is for me a "special area" where the theoretical skills acquired through training at our faculty, to put into practice. And the Russian Championship in the sport of blind and persons with infringement of the musculoskeletal system could not ignore. I am glad that I remove become part of such an important event "- says Alyona Petrochenko. |
