At the KEF-2015 "Norilsk Nickel" and SFU have signed an agreement on cooperation in science, education and practice in areas of "Jurisprudence", "International Relations" and "Customs"
The agreement on cooperation in science, education and practice in areas of "Jurisprudence", "International Relations" and "Customs" was signed by the rector of SFU Eugene Vaganov and Deputy General Director of OJSC "MMC" Norilsk Nickel "" Elena Bezdenezhnykh on February 27 2015 as a part of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum. The document elaborates on certain provisions concluded in 2010 Agreement on Strategic Partnership and involves in-depth cooperation with the Legal Institute of the SFU. Thus, it is expected MMC "Norilsk Nickel" will attract legal scholars for advice on important practical problems in the field of law. Elena Bezdenezhnykh commented the agreement: "We expect that the agreement will allow the" Norilsk Nickel "is not only to develop cooperation with SFU in attracting professionals, but also to strengthen cooperation in the field of comprehensive expertise of the existing legislation, particularly regional, to exchange experiences legal work with the promising areas of science, practices, and the most pressing economic and social needs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory". According to the rector of SFU Eugene Vaganov speech, from this kind of cooperation should benefit first and foremost the students, as the agreement included an item on the participation of experts of MMC "Norilsk Nickel" in the improvement of educational programs and attracting specialists to conduct final examinations. “Bunch of practitioners from industry and theorists of jurisprudence will strengthen the practical relevance of research and to attract professionals of the real sector of the economy to conduct joint research activities," - said Eugene Vaganov. Moreover r\there are other activities, which involves carrying out the agreement: round tables on law enforcement; organization of students of the Law Institute of SFU at the company; participation of teachers in working groups established for the preparation of draft laws.
