Results of the contest "The history of Russian diplomacy and the Present"
The intramural stage of the competition "The history of Russian diplomacy and the present" among the students of the 11th grade schools was held on February 20, 2015 at the Library of SFU. The competition was jointly organized by the Siberian Federal University, the Delegation of the Foreign Ministry in the city of Krasnoyarsk and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The aim of the competition was to increase the interest of students of graduation classes of schools for a diplomat, deepening their knowledge of the history of diplomacy and modern trends in the development of Russian diplomacy, the intensification of their independent research activities. Contestants had to explain their vision of the value of diplomacy at the present stage and to prepare an essay on diplomatic relations of Russia on the eve of the First World War. On the stage of full-time participants defended their work by preparing a 5-minute speech on the results of his study, and answered questions of the jury and experts. The competition received about 30 works, but only 16 were able to participate in the full-time phase, who have completed high school students in Krasnoyarsk, Kodinsk and Borodino. According to experts, assessed written work and present at the internal phase, the participants showed good research skills, ability to argue his position, to debate, to answer questions, in-depth knowledge of history XIX- end of the early twentieth century. The jury and experts, which included representatives of the MFA Acting Krasnoyarsk YS Gordo, members of the mission EV Lykov and AA Zakharov, senior lecturers of the Law Institute of SFU OE Shcherbinina, TF Antonenko, EA Pavelyeva, TY Sidorova, after the meeting, and the winner of two winners. The winner of the contest was announced Klimets Nadezhda, a student of school № 2, and winners Chebyh Jan, student of the school № 18, and Moldacheva Elizabeth, a student of the school № 150, of Krasnoyarsk.
