From words to deeds

Detecting and Validating Sybil Groups in theWildThere is an opinion that scientists engaged in theoretical research, the results of which are not used in practice. Lecturers of Siberian Federal University have refuted this view.

The project team  that included members of Law Institute (S. Krasnousov, V. Tereshkova, N. Khlonova) and Institute of Economics, Management and Nature Management (I. Vorontzova) suggested a methodology of estimating the corruption risks in educational organization based on the results of conducted research.  The results of research and methodology are published in the Handbook “Methodology of estimation the map of corruption risks for workplace of the head of educational organization”, 2015.

All members of the team attended trainings on the subject of practice-teaching techniques of education in Russia and abroad. On the base of the research and methodology a new online course “Corruption Prevention” was developed, where modern tools of e-learning were used on the basis of Moodle platform. The course will be tested in the term 2015/2016 among students of master program “Public administration”. The course was approved and included as a part of the strategical project of Siberian Federal University “Development of e-learning and distance learning technologies”.
