On the 26 of March 2016 in the Main Investigation Directorate in Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russian Federation took place a research-and-practice seminar for investigators. It was carried out by candidate of law, docent, head of the Criminal Procedure Department, the member of Public Council and Science Advisory Board of MID IC in Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russia A.D. Nazarov. The subject of study was: “Prognostication, detection, elimination and prevention of investigative mistakes”. Unfortunately, Investigation Directorate has to state that new investigators serve in Investigative Committee without getting a high education that is why they do not aware of professional skills in investigation work, violate the provisions of law, criminalistics, psychology and others. Therefore, we have a necessity in constant raising of the level of investigators’ skills. To ensure the more practical orientation in criminal procedure law study in our Institute, for several years the project “Social investigator assistant”. The basic chair of investigative practice, leaded by deputy head of MID IC in Krasnoyarsk Territory, police colonel, docent A.A. Pahomenko. As the result of successful work of the project and the chair, this year there was a record number of students who did work practice in MID IC in Krasnoyarsk Territory– 45. However, there is a lack of staff and their fluctuation of workers, so MID IC in Krasnoyarsk Territory of Russia is ready to contribute to training for law students in their structures.
