2-14 August – International Summer Law School 2016
Dear students! From 2 to 14 August 2016 Law Institute of SFU holds International Summer Law School 2016. ISLS is organized for the Law Institute students, students of Siberian law universities, law universities of Russia and foreign students. ISLS consisted of three sections. The first section: “European Law” on English takes place from 2 to 9 August 2016. Instructors: Aaron Cooper – researcher of Coventry University, Great Britain; Gregory McGoldrick – researcher of Seinan Gakuin University, Japan. Core audience: law students with knowledge of Legal English. The second section: “International public and European law in conjunction with German law” and “Criminal Law (including Criminal Procedure)” in German. Core audience: the students of Law Institute and Siberian law universities, participants of DSG program (learning of German law in German). The third section: branches of Russian law in German. Core audience: German law students. Instructors: associate professors, post-graduate and gradient students of SFU Law Institute. The German students have unique opportunity of intercultural Russian-German communication aiming to get rid of stereotypes and change the views, for discussing questions concerning Comparative Law sphere, to refine language practice and knowledge of legal terminology. The program of foreign and Siberian students learning includes the meetings with elected officials of Krasnoyarsk region Legislative Assembly. Upon the end of ISLS the exam have to be passed. Then the certificate is granted. Excursions through the memorable places of Krasnoyarsk also will not be set aside. English and German speaking law students of Siberian universities are invited!
