Unique educational events were carried out within the framework of psychological social-legal project “Step forward” by Law Institute (SFU) and Federal Penitentiary system. Kansk Juvenile Reformatory School students on stage
On April 16th, the premiere of the play “SHKID Republic” (by A.Portnoy) took place on professional stage of Kansk Drama Theatre. The key feature of the performance was the fact that the lead roles were played by students of Kansk Reformatory School. The auditorium was full. The first spectators were Law Institute (SFU) students, who participate in “Step forward” project, pupils, teachers and stuff of the Reformatory school, police and Federal Penitentiary system officials. Theatre professionals assessed the performance of young artists highly. The good news is that the pupils’ willingness to work in that direction has raised so probably they will shortly be again on stage with their new performance. The regional creative youth’s festival “Red viburnum” This year, that annual festival was dedicated to the year of cinema in Russia. The participants performed in the following nominations: vocal singing, reading by heart, folk and contemporary dance, theatre performances, video contest. The festival was a bright event, it was a high day of youth, talent and friendship. The significance of the event is that it did not only contributed to the development of creativity and esthetic taste, but also awakened the sense of beauty and the willingness to make people happy.
