Law Institute Students – Participants and Winners of the Final Round of Russian Student Legal Olympiad 2016

On 27th May 2016 Law Institute team consisting 4 people took part in the Final Round of Russian Student Legal Olympiad 2016, which was held at Moscow State Legal University.

Our team was represented by the following students:

Primary nomination – civil law (Sabirov Artyom, 4th grade)

  • Atamanov Veniamin, 4th grade (nomination: “Private jail in Russia: myth or reality?”
  • Belskyi Dmitriy (nomination: “Legal issues of fighting offenses in the field of sport”)
  • Grishina Daria, magistrate, 1st grade (nomination: “Comparative law: challenges of the 21st century”)

Olympiad tasks in primary nomination were in the form of card, which consisted theoretical questions.

In additional nominations participants made presentations on the previously selected scientific works and shared their view of the studied issue. After that, members of the jury and participants asked questions.

At the end of Olympiad, Belskyi Dmitriy took the 1st place, Grishina Daria – 2nd, Atamanov Veniamin – 3rd respectively in their nominations.
