An anti-corruption intellectual game “What? Where? When?” at Law School of Siberian Federal University

On 5 December an anti-corruption intellectual game “What? Where? When?” took place at Law School. The game was dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day and organized by the Anti-corruption and legal due diligence centre of SFU, administration of the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory, Krasnoyarsk Investigation department of West-Northern Investigation Office in the transport sector of Investigation Committee. 

Students from several universities of the region participated in the game. 

There were 7 players in the team of Law School of Siberian Federal University: Meshkova Nadezhda Dmitrievna, Maksimova Kseniya Evgenjevna, Maksimov Nikita Andreevich, Melnikov Aleksandr Alekseevich, Senchenko Sergej Konstantinovich, Karimova Ekaterina Andreevna, Kostenko Dmitrij Sergeevich.

The participants mentioned that some questions of the game were challenging and unusual. The questions weren’t oriented on the concrete facts. They were based on the specific historical facts, examples from mythology, which gave an opportunity to look at some problematic questions about the existence of corruption from a different angle. It wasn’t necessary to have deep knowledge of law; erudition and logical thinking helped participants to give correct answers.

The main contenders for the first place were teams from Siberian Federal University, Siberian Law Institute of the MIA of Russia and Krasnoyarsk State Medical University. The team of SFU won the game. A team captain Meshkova Nadezhda said, that experience and some skills, which were developed in Anti-corruption student club of SFU, played a significant role in this competition. 

All participants were awarded with thank-you letters, winners – with Certificates of Merit from the Anti-corruption and legal due diligence centre of SFU.
