Association of Lawyers of Russia confirmed the quality of legal education in the Law Institute of the Siberian Federal University

The Law Institute successfully passed public accreditation on the lawyers’ education quality, which was conducted by the All-Russian Non-Commercial Organization “Association of Lawyers of Russia”.

The experts from the Association of Lawyers of Russia held the study of 98 law institutes and faculties, which gave their consent to go through the monitoring of the education quality by the law community.

The list of 62 accredited professional institutes exercising law personnel training is publicized on the Association of Lawyers of Russia site.
It should be noted that the Law Institute is the only of the Krasnoyarsk institutes which passed the accreditation. As the Director of the Institute, Irina Shishko, says: “Owing to the exactingness to the students’ knowledge, the diploma of the Law Institute weigh not only in our Region, but also in Russian Federation and even abroad. Dozens of our students are continuing their education in magistracy of the foreign universities, are working in foreign companies and largest firms in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.”

We shall remind that the implementation of the law institutes accreditation was entrusted to the Association of Lawyers of Russia by the President’s Decree of 26th of May, 2009 №599, “The measures for the development of the higher legal education in Russian Federation.” The Commission for the accreditation was presided by the co-Chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Sergey Stepashin.

In the beginning of 2012 the Association of Lawyers of Russia is going to form a list of the best law institutes and faculties of Russia, basing on the results of the accreditation.
