On the 5th-6th of April 2012 the Law Institute of the Siberian Federal University holds Sixth International Scientific Conference for students, graduates and young scholars.

On the 5th-6th of April 2012 the Law Institute of the Siberian Federal University holds Sixth International Scientific Conference for students, graduates and young scholars. This year the topic of the Conference is: “Russian legal system reformation and human rights protection: national and international context.”

During the first day of the Conference (the 5th of April 2012) there will be organized several round table discussions on the following topics:

  • Human rights security: methodological, theoretical and historical problems.”
  • Human rights protection: national and international context.”
  • Problems of theory and practice of effective functioning of criminal justice system in securing Russian community and compliance with national and international human rights standards.”
  • Juvenile technologies application in the practice of juvenile protection.”

The round table discussions will start at 10 o’clock a.m.

On the 6th of April 2012 the Sections sessions will be held on the Following topics:

  • Problems of theory and history of state and law;
  • Constitutional and Municipal law;
  • Administrative law;
  • Civil law;
  • Civil procedure;
  • Labour law;
  • Criminal procedure and Forensic science;
  • International public and private law;
  • International Relations;
  • Criminal law;
  • Criminology;
  • Comparative law;
  • Business and Entrepreneurial law;
  • Finance and Tax law;
  • Social security and Social work.

The deadline for the applications for participation is the 25th of March, 2012. The participant registration form is included. The application for hotel booking must be sent before the 25th of March, 2012 with approximate price and room class.

The synopsis of reports and articles submitted for publication must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Size: not more than 8 pages for an article and not more than 3 pages for a synopsis, format A4, with equal 2,5 margins on all four sides;
  • The font and size of the text must be in Times New Roman 14-point; indentation – 2,5;
  • The text must be single-spaced;
  • Justified alignment, the part of the text may be highlighted in bold, in italics;
  • Footnotes must be per-page, edited in conformity with State Standard, font Times New Roman 10-point. The rules for formatting may be viewed here: http://smk.sfu-kras.ru/documents;
  • The heading of the paper must be in bold;
  • Information about the author – surname, name and patronymic, status (student, graduate, course), name of the institute, faculty;
  • Information about the scientific advisor - surname, name and patronymic, scientific degree, place of employment (institute, faculty, department).

Articles from students and graduates must be sent with the recommendation from scientific advisor (the scanned variant to the email address mentioned herein below).

The materials which are not in conformity with these rules will not be published.

The materials for the electronic edition must be sent before the 20th of March, 2012, for the collected articles – before the 1st of April, 2012 to the email address: law-eve@ya.ru.
