Many colleagues and students have noted that Valentina Vladimirovna harmoniously combines intelligence and culture, and the granting of the award has only confirmed it one more time.

The ceremony of the award granting took place on the 21st of April in the Hall of the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University. The President of the Association – the Chancellor of the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre professor K.Jacobson congratulated the winners and noted that their achievements prove high scientific and creative potential of the Krasnoyarsk Region.

The Association “Intelligence and Culture” was created in 1989 on the basis of two Krasnoyarsk universities: the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts (now the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre) and the Krasnoyarsk State Polytechnic Institute (now it is the part of the Siberian Federal University).

For the achievements in the scientific and social activity the associate professor of the international law department, the candidate of legal sciences Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova was granted the “Intelligence and Culture” Association award.

The award is traditionally granted to lecturers, aspirants and students for the particular achievements in creativity and for the work in the sphere of humanitarian education development. In 2009 the award was granted in different nominations: “Science and methodology”, “Graphic, performance and dramatic art”, “Dance”, “Music”, “Journalism”, “Social activity”.

The ideological leader and the creator of the Association is the ex-Chancellor of the Polytechnic institute Anatoliy Staver. The Association consists of all the universities of Krasnoyarsk and also of the institutions and people which/who worry about contemporary society’s future.
