The event was devoted to The President Elections in March, 2012. The primary topic was the initiative concerning citizen participation in the Public Observers Corps. The volunteers in the Corps are supposed to prevent breaches of the election procedure and promote the legitimacy of its results.
Representatives from different cities of the country participated in the meeting, including Maxim Abramchick, a third year student of the Law Institute. Maxim is the head of Youth Association of the Krasnoyarsk regional department of the Association of Lawyers of Russia. As a result of the meeting the organization of the Public Observers Corps in Krasnoyarsk Region was entrusted to the Youth Association of the Krasnoyarsk regional department.
Participating in the project is a wonderful chance to demonstrate your civic stand, to actively contribute to the formation of state power based on law, and not to stay aside. Citizens faithful to their Homeland and State actively express agreement and disagreement and do their best to facilitate the country's development.
The Youth Association of the Krasnoyarsk regional department of the Association of Lawyers of Russia appeals to every student of the Law Institute to enroll in Public Observers Corps and, thereby, ascertain the fairness of the election procedure personally.
All comers can sign up in the room 3-03 or call: 8-963-261-97-70. Additional information is available on the site: www.зачистыевыборы.рф
