In 2011 the Law Institute passed the social accreditation held by the Association of Lawyers of Russia.The Association of Lawyers of Russia unites a great number of professional lawyers of different law spheres. It is comprised of practicing lawyers as well as law professors. One of the areas of the Association’s activity is the promotion of the quality of legal education including the social accreditation of the higher schools of law. The accreditation was passed successfully and the Law Institute was recognized as the educational institution which prepares high-quality professionals in the sphere of law. The project establishing The Social support service was realized with the participation of Law Institute.
The Grant for the organization Service's work process was allocated by Regional Grant Council in amount of 500000 ruble. The project was led by head of the Department of criminal process, candidate of legal Sciences, associate Professor A. D. Nazarov. The main partner of the project was Chief Administration of Federal Penitentiary Service across Krasnoyarsk region. In the project were used scientific-methodical development of professors and students of the Law Institute of SFU, especially of social work department. The new Legal Clinic project
Since March of this year, implemented a joint project has been begun with the participation of Legal Clinic SFU Law Institute and "Our Krasnoyarsk Region" newspaper. This newspaper is a public one, its founders are the Governor of Krasnoyarsk region and the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Region. "Our Krasnoyarsk Region" - the leader among regional mass media in sphere in amount of individual's Subscription, with a run of 46 thousand copies weekly. That is why It is not surprising that readers from whole region sent letters to the newspaper and ask to resolve the legal problem. The RHSF supported the project application of Ph.D., associate professor of the theory of state and law V.Y. Panchenko.
The results of the competition of 2015 are available on the official website of the RHSF 1 April 2015. The RHSF has also decided to continue funding two projects of our teachers: The department of Foreign Languages for the humanities held two events the purpose of which was to increase the level of professional English language of students
4th year students of the "International Relations " department participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic of ending the war. Students sang the role of various political, religious and military leaders and discuss what can be done to avoid war. Comparative Law Department’s 2nd year students held a business game in English. The topic of the Business game was the "corporate law" and had a competitive nature. The Center of Environmental Rights "Bellona" with the support of the European Union and the Law Institute of the Siberian Federal University on 18-19 April 2015 holds a seminar "Eco-Lawyer."
During the seminar, the students of the Law Institute will have an opportunity to improve knowledge of environmental law and practice skills of their practical application in order to protect the environment. At the seminar, experts of "Bellona" will share their experience in the field of environmental protection of citizens' rights, give advice for self-management affairs, and also help to orient future environmental legal activity of students. Participants will be involved in discussions, individual and group tasks. The workshop will take two full days with breaks for coffee breaks and lunch.
