In 2011 the Law Institute passed the social accreditation held by the Association of Lawyers of Russia.The Association of Lawyers of Russia unites a great number of professional lawyers of different law spheres. It is comprised of practicing lawyers as well as law professors. One of the areas of the Association’s activity is the promotion of the quality of legal education including the social accreditation of the higher schools of law. The accreditation was passed successfully and the Law Institute was recognized as the educational institution which prepares high-quality professionals in the sphere of law. The student team of Law Institute (SFU) – 3rd year comparative law department students: Yevtugina Anastasia, Mikhaleva Anastasia, Nikitenko Sergey, Kazachkova Daria, team coach PhD, Tereshkova V.V. – took the second place in semi-final of the international contest "Models of the International Criminal Court - 2016". The three winning teams are invited to Hague (The Netherlands) to participate in the final of the contest. There are: 1.The Volga Federal University (Kazan’). 2. Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk). 3. Moscow State University. All-Russian student contest on jurisprudence includes three selection stages: university, regional and all-Russian. On the 6-7 of April 2016, in Omsk the second stage of All-Russian student contest on jurisprudence took place. On April 19, 2016 there was a round table on the subject: «Implementation of decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in the national legal system of Russia». The organizer and the moderator of a round table was Ludmila V. Mayorova, candidate of legal science, associate professor of the criminal procedure chair of Law Institute of SFU. Third year students from the group Comparative Law translated and analyzed decisions of the Constitutional Court of Germany. This decisions were part of the arguments in the famous resolution of the Russian Constitutional Court on July 14, 2015. And they are also used in the modern legal doctrine of Germany. Department’s head of registration of rights to real estate non-residential Russian registry Office of the Krasnoyarsk region - Tatyana Krasnopeeva conducted a master class on the topic "The simplified procedure for registration of property rights". Upon completion of the master-class she gave answers to students' questions about the capabilities of the Russian State Register, and about the most interesting moments of practice. In addition, no less fascinating master-class of the Krasnoyarsk region Prosecutor's Office was conducted. It was run by the public prosecutor of Department for Supervision over the implementation of legislation in the sphere of economy and conservation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Prosecutor's Office – Irpetkin Artem.
