On the 14-16 of March, 2012 the Law Institute of the Siberian Federal University, the Krasnoyarsk regional department of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, and the General Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service conduct traditional and – this year – international Makarenkovskie readings in the Kansk juvenile reformatory (such conference has been held in Kansk juvenile correction facility for three times, once in two years). The Mediation Centre of the Law Institute of the SFU as a structural subdivision was established by the Academic Council in 2011. On March 16, 2012 the presentation of the Mediation Center of at 14.00 will take place.
Within presentation results of scientific, educational and practical activities of the Center in 2011 will be declared, and also tasks of the Center for 2012 will be specified. Besides that, will be opened possibilities of mediation for settlement of disputes and some questions of application of this procedure. The center медиации has been established in 2011. Center purposes are: popularization of reconciliatory procedures in legal disputes; application of mediation for corporate, civil, family and labor disputes; realization of educational mediation programs; carrying out of scientific researches and legal examination concerning application of alternative ways of settlement of disputes in Russia and abroad.
