Anti-corruption Student Club’s sessions in March

Read more: Anti-corruption Student Club’s sessions in MarchMarch turned out to be quite productive for the members of Anti-corruption Student Club (further ASC) of SFU. After the Day of a Young Elector, several educational meetings with the representatives of law-enforcing bodies were conducted.

On the 15th of May, 2017 Victor Victorovich Semenov became our first guest. He is an assistant of the head of the Second administration – the head of the First investigative department of the Second administration on investigation of especially urgent cases (of crimes against state power and in economic sphere).

Students of the Law School are the best in the sphere of civil procedure in Siberian Federal District

Read more: Students of the Law School are the best in the sphere of civil procedure in Siberian Federal...The second round of the all-Russian Student's Academic Olympiad in jurisprudence in the Siberian Federal District was carried out within the scope of The first Omsk legal week, which was navigated by the Law Faculty of Omsk State University named after F.M. Dostoevsky in consort with the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In the section “Civil and arbitrary process” the Law School was presented by third-year students Karina Miroshnichenko ( group YuYu14-02B) and Vadim Mokin (group  YuYu14-06BMIP). Despite the serious competition, the participants showed good results by demonstrating brilliant knowledge in the sphere of a civil and arbitrary procedure.

A seminar “Socially important environmental and economic issues of Krasnoyarsk Region”

Regular section “Socially important environmental and economic issues of Krasnoyarsk Region” was carried out 15 of April, 2017. That seminar was dedicated to issues of law regulation of environment on the international and national levels.

Three lecturers of Law School of SibFu gave reports during the seminar: Sidorova T.Yu. "International legal aspects of the implementation of the concept of sustainable development"; Pavelieva E.A. "Supranational aspects of European environmental policy", Fitsai D.A. "Comparative legal analysis of environmental protection in Russia and China."

Annual conference “Yenisei legal reading” was carried out in 20 and 21 of April in the Law School of SibFU. 300 studies were presented within the scope of work of 24 sections.

Read more: Annual conference “Yenisei legal reading” was carried out in 20 and 21 of April in the Law School...Different sections of the conference were working: starting from the basic ones, such as “Topical issues of civil law”, “Criminal Procedure: a challenge of modernity», ending with narrow-focused ones – “Topical issues of legal support of business" or "Criminalistic provision of law enforcement activities". Absolute leader in the number of participants was a section “Topical issues of Criminal Law”. 66 participants stated reports in this section.

The German-language session of Administrative law “DSG” is over

Read more: The German-language session of Administrative law “DSG” is overThe German-language session of Administrative law “DSG” is over for the second year students of Comparative Law Department. Since 13.03.2007 till 18.03.2017 professor Urs Kramer and scientific employee of Passau University Katarina Lehner held the course of German Administrative law in German language.

Students impressed both lecturers and themselves with good grades for the exam. As noted by the lecturers professor Urs Kramer and Katarina Lehner “the students have brilliant knowledge of German Law, sometimes level of it is even higher than native German students have”.
